The Spider, Master of the Web

Spiders have eight legs but no teeth, so they use a digestive enzyme to liquefy and drink the insides of their prey. It takes them about 60 minutes to spin a web whose silk is five times stronger than a metal wire of the same thickness. The bite of the Australian Atrax robustus (usually measuring 1 cm) is reputed to be the most dangerous in the world.
