When the lights dance! The mirror ball

The "Myriad Reflector" was first patented in the United States in 1917 and improved with a second patent in 1928. Quickly popular in nightclubs, and discreetly adopted in the post-war period, it became a staple on dance floors with the explosion of disco in the 1970s. With a diameter of 10.33 meters, the largest mirror ball was presented at the "Camp Bestival" festival (Dorset, England) in 2014.
